To ensure you receive payments on time, setting up or updating your payment information in your Mavely account is critical. Follow the steps below to complete your payment profile:
Navigating Mavely
To set up or update your payment information:
- Log in to your Mavely account.
- Navigate to the Earnings page.
Click on Edit to open the payment profile setup window.

How to Set Up Your Payment Profile
The setup process is divided into three steps: Address, Payment Method, and Tax Forms.
- The details you provide must match in each step.
- Your tax form is dependent on whether your profile is marked as Individual or Company in Step 1.
- Individual = If you do not have an LLC
- Company = If you would like to be paid via your LCC and plan to submit a tax form for your LLC
Individual - If you do not have an LLC
Step 1: Address
Enter the relevant information.
Step 2: Payment Method
Select your preferred payment method. The available options will vary based on your country. Common options include:
- Direct Deposit/ACH
- Wire Transfer
- PayPal
- International ACH (eCheck)
- Wire Transfers on the same day your payment is processed.
- You may receive ACH payments one business day after your payment is processed.
- International payments may vary.
Once you’ve chosen a payment method and entered the necessary details, click Next to proceed.
Step 3: Tax Forms
Now, you’ll be prompted to submit a tax form using your SSN.
- Ensure your name matches exactly as entered in Step 1 and appears on your government-issued ID.
- Example: If your middle name is abbreviated in Step 1, it should also be abbreviated on your tax form.
- Use your personal details to complete a W-9 or W-8BEN tax form.
- Check the box marked for ‘Individual’.
Company - If you would like to be paid via your LCC and plan to submit a tax form for your LLC

Select your preferred payment method. The available options will vary based on your country. Common options include:
- Direct Deposit/ACH
- Wire Transfer
- PayPal
- International ACH (eCheck)

Once you’ve chosen a payment method and entered the necessary details, select the name on the account that best matches your bank statement. If the bank account is in your LLC’s name, select the LLC name from the dropdown.
Step 3: Tax Forms
Now, you’ll be prompted to submit your tax form using your business EIN.
- If you are opting to submit information on behalf of your company, depending on your Entity Type, you may have to exclude your name from your tax form and only enter your business name in the field marked ‘Name'.
- If your company is a Sole Proprietorship, then you will have to enter both your Name and your Business name.
Important Reminders
- It is your responsibility to keep your account and payment details up to date. If any information is changed, your tax form must be resubmitted to reflect the update. If your tax form is not updated, your account will be marked as ‘Not Payable’.
- Creators have 6 months post a pay period to reach out in regards to any missed payouts, due to a payment profile not being complete. Mavely will not issue payments after 6 months.
- Make sure to finalize all payment details 5+ business days before a scheduled pay period to ensure smooth processing.
