Getting Started with MyShop

MyShop is a free, customizable storefront built for Mavely creators. It lets you showcase and organize your curated content through beautifully themed Pages and Posts, all tailored to your brand, audience, or product niche.

Why Use MyShop?

MyShop serves as your central hub—a one-stop destination where followers can easily browse and shop all your Mavely links in a clean, organized layout.

Accessing MyShop

You can access MyShop via the Mavely app or desktop site. Switch between the main dashboard and MyShop anytime using the Home/MyShop toggle button.

• Desktop: Click the MyShop icon (example below) in the upper-right corner of the navigation bar.
• Mobile App: Tap the MyShop icon in the bottom-left corner of the navigation bar

Setting Up Your Storefront

When accessing MyShop for the first time, you’ll be prompted to set up your storefront. This is required before creating any Pages or Posts.

What You’ll Need:

1. A Shop Name
2. A short Shop Description
3. A custom MyShop URL

All of this can be set up via MyShop Settings in the app or desktop.

Creating Your MyShop URL

Your MyShop URL is auto-generated when you enter your shop name, but it can be customized before saving.

URL Guidelines:

• Lowercase letters only
• No spaces or special characters
• Use kebab-case (words separated by hyphens)
  • Example: mave.ly/this-is-an-example

Important: Once you save your MyShop URL, it cannot be changed without submitting a support ticket.

If you decide to update your shop name later, your URL will remain the same unless formally changed through a request.

Tip: Most users mirror their social handle or brand name. 

Adjusting your URL

To update your MyShop URL, submit a support ticket including:

• Your current URL
• Your requested new URL
• Confirmation that you understand:
  • Previous links will no longer work
  • Search engine rankings may be affected
