    Amazon Affiliate Program FAQ

    The Amazon Affiliate Program on Mavely is currently available to a select group of creators and offers unique access to Amazon affiliate tools through the Mavely platform. This guide answers common questions about how it works, how to get started, and what to expect.

    What is the Amazon Affiliate Program on Mavely? 

    This exclusive program allows select Mavely creators to promote Amazon products and earn commissions and bonuses. As a participant, you’ll gain:

    Amazon on Mavely vs. Amazon Associates

    By using Amazon through Mavely, you get the benefits of both Amazon’s massive product catalog and Mavely’s creator-friendly features:

    Getting Started

    Once your Mavely account is created, you’re automatically enrolled in the Amazon program (as you were selected and recruited by our team).

    Step 1: Schedule a Call

    You’ll receive an email from your Mavely representative with a link to schedule your onboarding call. This contact will help guide your Amazon strategy.

    Step 2: Create a Link

    Mavely powers your access to the Amazon Affiliate program, so you can use any Mavely link creation tool—web app, mobile app, browser extension, or share extension—to create Amazon affiliate links.

    • Amazon is now an additional brand provided on Mavely that you have access to. You can link with Amazon just as you would any other brand.

    Tip: Commission rates, rules, and other details are available in the Amazon brand card on Mavely.

    Storefront vs MyShop

    By linking to Amazon on Mavely, you gain access to all Mavely creator tools. Although you can not create an Amazon Storefront, you are able to create a Mavely MyShop —a customizable landing page to showcase your favorite products, links, and posts.

    Earnings and Sales Reporting

    You can view all your Amazon analytics in the Mavely Analytics tab. To filter for Amazon, simply select Amazon from the brand dropdown in the top right corner.

    Creators typically start seeing their Amazon data and sales within 24-48 hours. Mavely pulls data daily, so slight delays are normal.

    Notes:

    • Earnings are calculated based on shipped revenue.
    • Detailed product-level sales data is not currently available, but enhanced reporting is in development.
    • As with many brands on Mavely, Amazon has its own terms and policies. 

    Per the Amazon Associates' Operating Agreement, Amazon does not pay referral commissions for products you purchase through your own links.

    Payouts

    • You will receive payouts on your commissions and any other earnings through Mavely. The commission you earn by linking to Amazon will be included in your payouts which are issued twice per month.

    • At this time, Campaigns and Bonuses are not being offered for the Amazon Associates program on Mavely. 

    Data Adjustments & Returns

    Amazon returns are processed like any other brand return on Mavely. For full details, see our article on Adjustments.

    Reporting Differences: Mavely vs. Amazon Associates

    • This program is managed entirely through Mavely, and sales made via your Mavely Amazon links are tracked separately and are paid out directly by Mavely.
    • Your Mavely Amazon sales do not count toward Amazon Associates incentives or bonuses. Earnings through Mavely only contribute to your Mavely commissions and monthly Mavely bonus.
    • You do not need to connect your Amazon Associates account to use this feature.

    Possible Missing Sales

    As per Amazon’s terms, you cannot make purchases through your own links. If you suspect a sale was missed, you can submit an Order Inquiry Form to our team for review.

    Cookie Window

    The cookie window for Amazon is 24 hours.

    This means you’ll earn a commission on any qualifying items a customer adds to their cart within 24 hours of clicking your Mavely Amazon link—as long as they haven’t clicked someone else’s affiliate link since.

    The 24-hour window closes once the customer either:

    1. Submits their order, or
    2. Re-enters Amazon through another affiliate link.

    If they return to Amazon through one of your links again, a new 24-hour window opens.

    Tip: If a customer adds a product to their Shopping Cart during your 24-hour window but places the order later (up to 90 days), you’ll still earn a commission—as long as the item remains in their cart and is purchased before it expires.

    Commissions are only credited once the customer completes the purchase, accepts delivery, and pays in full.
